Our Story

The lily as a symbol of continuity.

The name BAHC Lily honors a recognizable Bosnian cultural symbol while pointing toward renewal. The four pillars turn that symbol into a working structure: preserve what came before, teach what must continue, serve families now, and gather the community in public life.

Heritage and Memory

Protect Bosnian history, family stories, music, foodways, art, and the symbols that keep identity alive across generations.

Language and Learning

Create accessible pathways for Bosnian language, youth development, cultural literacy, and lifelong learning.

Community Care

Support families through hospitality, newcomer resources, senior connection, practical referrals, and volunteer service.

Civic and Cultural Life

Give Bosnian Americans a visible home for celebrations, partnerships, professional networks, and public cultural life.
